There is a fire that burns within the hearts of certain men that compels them to irreversible madness. Controlled Chaos is a blog that is all things fantastic with it's feet planted firmly in the truth. I'm fascinated by life here in this dimension and I'm constantly attempting to decipher the beautiful absurdity of the human condition. Join me.

Help Protect The "Uncontacted" People of Peru!
The reason why uncontacted in the title is in quotes is because even planes flying over these people has changed the course of their lives, make no mistake about it, we have made contact. Nevertheless, it is still extremely powerful! These people are completely cut off from "civilization". Think about that. They know nothing of our crazy way of life. To them we are aliens from outer space. Their way of life is pure, and beautiful, and needs to be preserved for as long as possible. To destroy or even alter their reality just so we can feed ours is pure evil. This tribe, and others like it, need to be protected; not out of some sense of nostalgia for the past but for the simple fact that they are living examples of how another path is still available. I know this will sound like some hippie nonsense to some, but I truly believe that every life should be given a real choice of which path they will follow and how they will lead their life. That is not the case here in America anymore. There is really only one path; it's called Consumerism, and if your not on it your probably looking through dumpsters for your dinner. Of course there are those that live among us but are still able to stay on the outer fringes of society, but they are few and long as The Beast keeps tightening it's grip, their number's will continue to shrink. Technology is great and I obviously enjoy it's benefits as much as anyone. The knowledge it provides, the ability to travel and communicate, the medicines it's helped us invent, etc. are all wonderful, amazing things but with it I think, comes a sense of elitism. An attitude that considers those in the "undeveloped" world to be inferior. That is a dangerous viewpoint. Globalization is rapidly bringing the world together and as a result, stripping away the individuality of culture. What a terrible world that would be. Please sign the petition attached to the video. We often wonder what we can do as individuals to help "change the world" well this is one of those seemingly small things we can do that could have a massive impact on all of humanity. Sign up!

I saw this video when it was first released. I believe it was about a year ago. I fear that in the name of Anthropology, they will be contacted.
